October 2021 - Present Hammersmith and Fulham EHCP team
I am currently working with the Hammersmith and Fulham Education Health Care Plan team to help schools manage the influx of ASD students currently waiting diagnosis or newly diagnosed. My role involves working with schools and families to ensure a smooth transition into mainstream schooling or to help schools set up the most appropriate setting. I am currently setting up an ASD reception classroom in a mainstream school.

I wrote, and my husband illustrated, an early intervention guide that was accepted for publishing by Jessica Kinglsey and endorsed by Professor Simon Baron-Cohen who called it, “A highly accessible guide for parents who want autism research translated into a quick-read, practical tool-kit”.

Lewisham special needs schools include Watergate and Brent Knoll, I have worked in Cherry Gardens and Haymerle Schools in Southwark and have made visits to some of the Eagle House Schools to consider their suitability for individual children.
