Sensory processing/ suspected ASD Consultancy
When parents suspect special needs they can be shocked, not only by the surprise of having a high need child, but also at the lack of support in the state system. Precious years can be wasted waiting for support and guidance. Our extensive experience helps parents navigate the potentially lengthy diagnosis and EHCP statementing systems. Having worked as a special needs teacher for many years I would not advise waiting for help to arrive and work with local families to start early intervention as early as possible and as cost effective as possible. - Vicky Carpenter PGCE SEN Teacher
Early intervention can mean many things.
We have considerable experience working in and collaborating with schools to ensure best outcomes for children and offer 3rd party liaison with schools where difficulties have arisen. Remember, you are not alone in trying to find support for your child. Contact us today.
Fees: Consultancy fees are £60 per hour, this time could be; working directly with your child, going into a current school placement to set up systems to support your child, or spending the time training up your current childcare. We can work directly with your needs and your budget.

Parents often need 4 - 5h's for an initial assessment, strategy session and setting up of intervention systems. From that point 1h a week to bed in and trouble shoot intervention and from there on maybe 1h a month to update the programme as things progress. During this time we could also be working on possible early nursery school placement and possibly help finding a 1:1learning support assistant to help them settle in.

Early intervention can mean many things.
- We can plan and set up home early intervention plans including coaching parents to deliver early support.
- We provide specialist tutoring, or help you to find an ASD nanny, or help you to train up your existing child care.
- We can work with you to find appropriate education placements for your child, this might involve providing your child with a support assistant until funding comes into place through an EHCP.
- We can highlight potential sources of state support.
- If difficulties have arisen in a current educational placement we can go in and assess what needs to be done to make the placement work or be an independent 3rd party advocating for the best support for your child.
